“Sweet Persistence” a Botanical Watercolor Fine Art Print

Celebrating the delicate beauty of the poppy, this watercolor painting captures the vibrant grace and rhythmic growth of these blooms. At the beginning of summer, my sweet 5-year old planted these poppies in a small patch of soil in our butterfly garden. Watching his tiny fingers placing seeds to soil, and the slow rise of each flower opening to new life, was a reminder to relish in the beauty of life’s rhythm, seen in each leaf and petal opening to the sun.

Painted in warm reds and hints of purple, this painting is both minimalistic and poetic.
