“Awakening Sunflower” a Botanical Watercolor Fine Art Print

This watercolor painting illustrates the sweet shyness of a sunflower opening to the early morning sun. This summer, my 7-year old planted a small patch of sunflowers on the south-facing side of our barn. Watching them grow from tiny seed to towering bloom was a refreshing reminder of the magic of life.

Painted in soft yellows and greens, this painting is a minimalistic celebration of this beautiful bloom.
