PawPaw, Asimina Tribola

$45.00

This scientific botanical watercolor illustration depicts the beautiful PawPaw plant, a fruit bearing plant native to Eastern North America. PawPaws are the largest edible fruit native to North America and have a custard-like taste with hints of banana, mango and pineapple. PawPaws are the sole host plant of the beautiful Zebra Swallowtail, whose numbers are dwindling due to habitat loss of this magnificent tree.

PawPaw, Asimina Tribola is an 11x14 giclée print, created on archival cotton rag, a flat fine art quality paper, printed with professional fine art quality inks, and hand-cut in studio.

“PawPaw” is part of my collection WILD, a series of watercolor botanical illustrations inspired by Terry Tempest William's words "To be whole. To be complete. Wildness reminds us what it means to be human, what we are connected to rather than what we are separate from."

PRINTED TO ORDER. All giclée prints are created by a local print shop at the time of your order. Please allow 2 weeks processing time.
